September 16-22

I just wanted to start by letting everyone know, who doesn't know already, that I post many family recipes online. If you don't have Charlotte's cook book near by or Mom isn't home to text you the recipe, I have provided four resources where you can hopefully find the recipe you are looking for. The picture below shows where to go to find these recipes on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and on my personal blog.
This
week has been pretty good. I had a good second week working at the court house. It is only part time so I applied for another job in the evenings. I interviewed for a cleaning service that cleans offices Monday-Saturday for two hours each night. My interview was at 5:15 on Monday, so I showed up at 5:07. When the guy didn't come, I texted him at 5:20. He didn't respond until 5:30 and didn't show up until 5:50. I was quite annoyed. He basically gave me a promotion in the interview, asking me what times I could work in the evening and if I could stop by other locations to make sure they look good. I didn't hear from him again until Thursday. He asked if I could start Friday but I couldn't, so I started Saturday. We cleaned a funeral home and it took less than an hour and a half. I was annoyed on Monday but the job has turned out to be really easy, flexible, and relaxed. It's a good fit for what we were looking for. Paul has been tutoring, taking classes and is working in his research lab A LOT! He's also been writing up essays and application materials for different grad schools. We're excited to see where it takes us!
Sunday we went to a fireside where Elder Holland spoke. He talked about preparing for the last days by being hopeful, grateful, and having courage.
