Monday I woke up to a text from Michelle Wilcox telling me that James was in an accident and was in the hospital. This alarmed me. I called Mom, Dad, and Ben to ask what happened and no one answered! Mom called me back soon after. She had been awake all night with James. He was in the Neuro intensive care unit. They wanted to watch him at the hospital for a couple days because he got a concussion and cracked his head close to an artery. They wanted to make sure he didn't get any bleeding from that. Paul and I drove up to salt lake to see him. We talked to him for 30 minutes before he went to bed. He seemed really good. He wasn't confused at all or repetitive. He was tired and had a headache.  Tuesday we watched dial M for Murder with Grandma Terry. It was really fun! Wednesday we went to Paul's cousin, Christian's, 6th birthday party. We took him some avengers toys. His parents are our age and so sweet. It was fun to see them. Wendy came down to have lu

July 8-14

This week was really fun! Tuesday we went to a BBQ with my work. Wednesday I got together with my sister in law, Hannah. She had some girls over for treats and games. I left around 10 before they got into games but it was fun to get to know the girls.  Thursday Hannah invited me to come to a RS activity where they did a recipe exchange. A girl from my mission is in her ward so I talked to her for a bit. We also talked to a Portuguese woman who was visiting her daughter who just finished a ten week English class. She was very nice. Friday we got together with Matt and Hannah. We went and got tacos, watched a show together. Then Hannah and I went jogging and Matt and Paul played basketball. Hannah and I came back after three miles and played some games with Matt and Paul. Saturday I started the day by running 4 miles. Then Paul and I got ready and drive up to salt lake. Paul went to see his parents after he dropped me off to get my nails done with Mom and Brianna. When the

This week was good. Just worked until Thursday. I made pancakes and homemade whipped cream. We went shopping and took advantage of the fourth of July sales. That evening we took a BBQ dinner to Paul's Grandma who broke her hip. We played a couple of games together and talked. Then she went to bed and Paul and I went to the park and watched the fireworks. It was really fun!  Saturday Paul had to work so I got a lot of cleaning done while he was gone. I picked him up for work and we went to dinner then met up with Matt and Hannah and watched a movie together. Then Paul and Matt went to play basketball and Hannah and I went jogging. We met them at the church and played a couple rounds of lightening before calling it a night.  Sunday we went to church with Elaine and played some games after. Then we drove up to Salt Lake and hung out with the family before going over to Chad's for the dinner for Sara. It was nice to get together. We will continue to pray for her and are glad

We had a pretty regular week until Tuesday night. Paul's Grandma broke her hip. We went to the ER so she could get a blessing. They did surgery the next morning and put a rod into her hip.  We went to visit her on Wednesday and we played cards. She seemed really happy and not in as much pain. Thursday we went by again and just talked because she wasn't feeling as good.  Saturday we went up to salt lake for a work party. We went to the zoo. We were there for about 3 hours and got some serious sun. It was fun to see all the animals.  After the zoo we went over to Mom and Dad's house. Paul got a haircut then mowed the lawn, even though he was really tired and already sunburned. Then we went with Ben and Dad over to see Grandpa Reed. We played 9 innings and talked for a bit. Then we went home and Ben helped us wash our car.  That was it for us this week. Love you guys!

This week was pretty good. Monday we went to Paul's doctors appointment. He does not need surgery! The doctor gave him a couple medications for the dizziness and headaches. So far so good! Saturday we hiked up the Y. It was a pretty steep hike. It was nice because it only got up to 62 degrees, so it wasn't too hot. We came home after and took a nice nap. Haha Dinner at Red robin Those were the highlights this week. Love you guys!
