July 22-28

This week was busy! I finished my summer job on Tuesday. When I got home Paul surprised me with plane tickets to New York! We leave this coming Wednesday :) I can't wait!
Wednesday I drove up to Logan and took up most of our stuff since Paul extended his internship until Tuesday and we wouldn't be coming back to Logan until after vacation. I got some sushi that night since Paul is not a fan and watched a little Avatar haha. I brought up a painting that Paul's Grandpa painted and it was my favorite so I'm real happy :)
Thursday I got my hair done before driving back to Provo. I went to the beauty school up there and the girl was really sloppy. My back was wet the whole time from my hair and my shirt got bleach stains from the dye. Not a super fun 5 hours but I like how my hair turned out. 
Saturday we went to North salt lake to see Paul's family. We went for a hike up Brighton to Lake Mary. It was beautiful but we didn't bring bug spray so we got eaten alive by mosquitos. 
Sunday we had a final dinner and games with Paul's family in Provo. We had some Chinese noodles, orange chicken, and pot stickers. We played phase 10 which turned out to be a mistake and ended the night a little exasperated. 
It's been a great summer in Provo and has gone by very quickly. Love you all!

Monday I woke up to a text from Michelle Wilcox telling me that James was in an accident and was in the hospital. This alarmed me. I called Mom, Dad, and Ben to ask what happened and no one answered! Mom called me back soon after. She had been awake all night with James. He was in the Neuro intensive care unit. They wanted to watch him at the hospital for a couple days because he got a concussion and cracked his head close to an artery. They wanted to make sure he didn't get any bleeding from that. Paul and I drove up to salt lake to see him. We talked to him for 30 minutes before he went to bed. He seemed really good. He wasn't confused at all or repetitive. He was tired and had a headache.  Tuesday we watched dial M for Murder with Grandma Terry. It was really fun! Wednesday we went to Paul's cousin, Christian's, 6th birthday party. November 11-17

Monday was veterans day and I didn't have to go to work. I just did meal prep stuff to save time during the week while Paul went to school.  Other than that, the week has been busy with school and work. I tried the chicken pot pie recipe Brianna sent me and it was super yummy!  Paul and I tried the new pizza place in Logan this weekend. There was an hour wait so I put my name in when I got off work and then picked up Paul, so it didn't feel like a long wait. It was super yummy, Chicago style pizza. We also downloaded Disney+ and have rediscovered some fun movies like Swiss Family Robinson.  That's all from us. Love you all!

I just wanted to start by letting everyone know, who doesn't know already, that I post many family recipes online. If you don't have Charlotte's cook book near by or Mom isn't home to text you the recipe, I have provided four resources where you can hopefully find the recipe you are looking for. The picture below shows where to go to find these recipes on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and on my personal blog.  This week has been pretty good. I had a good second week working at the court house. It is only part time so I applied for another job in the evenings. I interviewed for a cleaning service that cleans offices Monday-Saturday for two hours each night. My interview was at 5:15 on Monday, so I showed up at 5:07. When the guy didn't come, I texted him at 5:20. He didn't respond until 5:30 and didn't show up until 5:50. I was quite annoyed.
