Happy mother's day! This week Paul and I had it pretty easy. We are getting ready to move down to Provo. I've been looking for jobs and Paul's been packing and getting his paperwork done. I had a phone interview for a job in Provo and I have an in person interview next week. I also had my last day at the Chinese restaurant this week. I'm so happy I don't have to work as a waitress ever again :P
We also were able to get an MRI this week for Paul. His doctor has been so fast in helping us out, it's been great. The MRI radiologist got back to us and let us know that Paul has a chiari malformation, type 1. He has 13 mm of his cerebral tonsils poking out of the base of his skull. This presents a risk for harming the brain stem and usually requires surgery. The surgery is highly successful and consists of removing a small piece of the skull to relieve pressure. Paul has an appt to see the surgeon in June. We are very hopeful.
Love you all! Thank you for the texts of support and for your prayers
