This week was very eventful. Monday was the holiday. We went to a BBQ place with Andrew, Sierra, Jacob and Brianna. Jacob and Brianna had to go after dinner. Then we went to Andrew and Sierra's place and talked. Then we went and got ice cream.
Tuesday I started work and it was really fun! They gave me some free merchandise, a lady comes in and makes lunch for everyone, and everyone has been really nice. I was able to take calls by myself by the end of the week!
Paul is enjoying his time in the internship.
Wednesday Paul started feeling some tingly sensations and numbness in his hands and feet, which the doctor's warned us might be a sign of progression. So we went to the ER and they tested Paul's blood and gave him an MRI. They showed that his malformation has not changed since the last MRI but there is definite pressure on the brain stem. He can see the surgeon on the 17th.
Friday we got tacos and played basketball with Matt and Hannah. The chapel we went to was so hot, we were all sweating before we even started playing. At dinner, I asked Paul to get me some mango salsa with my tacos but I didn't know there were jabañeros in there too. So I was trying to wash down the spice the whole time while everyone else was enjoying the tacos.. Haha I'll know better for next time.
Saturday we met up with Clare and Chandler down past Springville, where they live. Clare made us dinner. We were going to go to the rodeo but it was pretty rainy and stormy, so we ended up going to an arcade that they suggested. It was super fun and I even won jackpot on one of the games! We won some car dice, the glow in the dark stars you put on your ceiling, and a foam pepper with a devil face that Paul and I named Hell-bañero in memory of the spicy salsa. Clare and Chandler got candy and some spooky hands. Then we got some ice cream and watched a scary movie.
Sunday I made Texas sheet cake for dessert. Every fast Sunday Sam and Terry have over their grandkids that are living in the area for a family dinner. So Terry made taco salads and I made cake. We had about 12 people come over. It was really fun! Paul's cousins are so outgoing and hilarious.
That was our week. Love you guys!
