Monday Paul and I just ran errands to get ready to move to Provo the next day. Tuesday we headed down in the morning and went to lunch with Paul's parents to the black bear diner. Wendy made me this huge, beautiful, warm quilt for my graduation and I just love it! We also stopped by my parents house and had a salmon dinner with them. It was fun to see everyone on the way down. Paul was excited to go to brick oven first thing before we moved in.
Wednesday Paul started the internship and I got us all moved in. I had a job interview and got offered a position at an online banking firm. Later we went to dinner with Grandma Kennard then went to the park to play games. I won and was very proud.
Thursday I had another job interview at the hospital for a secretary position. I should hear back from them this next week. Paul got more social time than he wanted in lab but liked the work he did in the professors lab.
Friday I ran errands while Paul was working. After we met up with Paul's brother and his wife and got together with Grandma Kennard for dinner and games. Grandma was tired and left after a little bit. We then went bowling and got some ice cream.
Saturday we had a chill day. We stayed up late on Friday so we were pretty tired. Paul presented his project overview to the other people in the internship and we had a BBQ with them. Then we went back to Paul's grandparents house and watched the Golden State v Portland game with some creamies. Then we went to bed as soon as the game was over.
Sunday we went to church with Grandma Kennard and had lunch with her in Orem. Then we came back to do scripture study and have dinner with Sam and Terry. Paul's brother and his wife, Matt and Hannah, came and picked us up to go to Grandma's Kennard for some games.
We have enjoyed staying with Sam and Terry. Terry is always willing to chat with us and help us in any way. We really appreciate them letting us stay with them.
